SMS Messaging Program
Broadway Open Stage Studio provides SMS messaging to communicate regarding:
Class reminders
Enrollment updates
Billing notifications
Schedule changes
Weather closures
Studio announcements
Promotions and special offers
Message frequency varies.
Consent
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Broadway Open Stage Studio.
Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

REGISTRATION & ENROLLMENT
All registration is completed online.
A current signed waiver and policies agreement must be on file for participation in classes, rehearsals, camps, productions, performances, or events.
Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Class placement and level progression are determined at the discretion of the studio.
TUITION & PAYMENTS
Season Tuition (August–May)
Season tuition is based on the full studio year and may be:
Paid in full, or
Divided into equal monthly installments.
Monthly installment payments require automatic payment using a bank account or credit/debit card on file.
Enrollment fees and first month tuition are due upon registration.
Monthly tuition installments are processed on the 1st of each month August through May.
All electronic payments are subject to applicable processing fees.
Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Missed classes do not qualify for refunds or tuition credits.
Summer Tuition & Camps
Summer camp deposits are non-refundable.
A student’s place is not guaranteed until:
Registration is complete,
Required forms are signed,
Deposit or balance is paid.
If a student withdraws from a summer camp or class, a studio credit may be issued at management discretion unless otherwise stated.
Remaining camp balances may be automatically processed prior to camp start dates using the payment method on file.
COSTUME & SHOWCASE FEES
Costume Fees
Little Stars costume fees may be included in tuition as stated in program details.
Leveled classes and productions may incur separate costume fees.
Costume fees:
Are automatically processed on scheduled billing dates,
May be placed on a payment plan if offered,
Are non-refundable once ordered.
Showcase & Performance Fees
Performance and showcase participation fees cover production-related expenses including, but not limited to:
Venue rental
Production costs
Lighting/sound
Security
Props/scenery
Programs
Showcase shirts
Awards
Tickets are not included unless stated otherwise.
All showcase and performance fees are non-refundable.
Students enrolled in performing classes are expected to participate in showcase performances unless otherwise noted.
Participation in mandatory rehearsals is required.
ATTENDANCE & PARTICIPATION
Consistent attendance is essential for student growth and group success.
Families should notify the studio of planned absences whenever possible.
Students missing excessive classes, rehearsals, or mandatory production requirements may be deemed ineligible to perform at the discretion of the studio.
Missed classes may be eligible for makeup classes when available and approved by the studio.
ADD/DROP/WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Written notice via the studio’s official withdrawal or class change form is required to:
Add classes,
Drop classes,
Withdraw from the studio.
Notice must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the next billing cycle to avoid future tuition charges.
Failure to attend classes does not constitute withdrawal.
No partial refunds are issued for prepaid tuition, costume fees, showcase fees, registration fees, or production fees.
DRESS CODE
Students must follow the studio dress code requirements for their enrolled classes.
Students not in proper attire may be asked to observe class if attire presents a safety concern or disrupts instruction.
Hair must be secured appropriately for movement-based classes.
Summer dress code may be more relaxed as outlined by the studio.
LEVEL PLACEMENT & TECHNIQUE REQUIREMENTS
Level placement is determined based on:
Skill level
Technique
Performance quality
Maturity
Focus
Professionalism
Safety considerations
Placement is always at the discretion of the studio.
Certain classes may require co-enrollment in technique or tumble/acrobatic training classes.
Students are not guaranteed yearly advancement.
CLASS CHANGES, SUBSTITUTIONS & CLOSURES
BOSS reserves the right to:
Change instructors,
Combine classes,
Adjust schedules,
Substitute teachers,
Cancel classes,
Modify programming as needed.
Classes canceled due to:
Weather,
Emergencies,
Government advisories,
Facility issues,
Instructor illness,
Unforeseen circumstances
may receive a makeup class at the studio’s discretion but are not guaranteed refunds.
FAMILY COMMUNICATION
Families are responsible for staying informed through:
Email communication,
Parent apps/platforms,
Studio social media,
Website updates,
Handbooks and newsletters.
Failure to read communications does not exempt families from studio policies, deadlines, fees, or requirements.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE & VISITORS
Students should arrive on time and be picked up promptly.
Lobby areas should remain clean, respectful, and quiet.
Food is not permitted in studio spaces unless otherwise approved.
Families may monitor classes using approved studio viewing systems such as Spot TV where available.
Recording or distributing studio class footage is prohibited unless expressly authorized.
MEDIA RELEASE
By enrolling, families grant Broadway Open Stage Studio permission to photograph and/or record students during classes, rehearsals, performances, camps, and events for:
Educational purposes,
Promotional materials,
Advertising,
Website use,
Social media,
Studio publications.
Families wishing to opt out where permitted must provide written notice to the studio.
FAMILY CONDUCT POLICY
Broadway Open Stage Studio is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment.
Students, parents, guardians, and visitors are expected to:
Treat staff, instructors, volunteers, students, and families respectfully,
Communicate professionally and constructively,
Support a safe and positive learning environment.
The following may result in dismissal from the studio without refund:
Harassment
Threatening behavior
Bullying
Disruptive conduct
Excessive disrespect toward staff or families
Public disparagement of the studio, staff, or students
False, defamatory, or harmful social media statements
Concerns should be directed to studio management for resolution.
ROLLOVER REGISTRATION
Enrollment may automatically roll into the following season unless families opt out during the designated enrollment period.
Benefits may include:
Priority placement,
Discounted registration,
Waitlist priority,
Simplified enrollment.
Families remain responsible for reviewing schedules and submitting changes during registration periods.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & WAIVER OF LIABILITY
Participation in dance, theatre, tumble, acro, music, fitness, camps, performances, and related activities involves inherent risks including possible bodily injury, disability, illness, paralysis, or death.
By enrolling, families acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Families release and hold harmless Broadway Open Stage Studio, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and facility providers from claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from participation in studio activities except where prohibited by law.
Families acknowledge responsibility for determining whether participation is appropriate for the student’s physical condition.
POLICY CHANGES
Broadway Open Stage Studio reserves the right to update policies, tuition, schedules, staffing, procedures, programming, fees, and requirements at any time as needed.
Enrollment constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all current studio policies and future policy updates.
By registering with Broadway Open Stage Studio, families acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, Policies & Procedures.
